Rea, at Wilder's victory party last year.)Yesterday, Richmond 's rather free-spirited mayor, Doug Wilder, finally got around to endorsing his fellow Democrat Tim Kaine in the too-close-to-call gubernatorial race. Did Wilder's better-late-than timing mean this? Or, perhaps it was that? Who knows? The other Democrats on the statewide ticket were left to fend for themselves. And, the beat goes on...
