Flicker

This came in from James Parrish of Richmond Moving Image Coop:

This is your two-week, advance notice, heads up about the next Flicker on Wednesday, November 30, 8 p.m. at Plant Zero Art Center (0 E. 4th Street, off Hull just south of the 14th St./Mayo Bridge). Admission is $3 at the door. The Plant Zero Cafe will be open and serving beverages and light snacks. Mark you calendars, make mental notes, place post-its all over the place -- whatever it takes to remember to come out for this bi-monthly showcase of films by local, regional and sometimes far-flung filmmakers. The bottom line is these are ultra-independent, low- to no-budget, home made films. If you like your films slow-cooked, Flicker is for you!

I have a few slots left if anyone has a Regular 8, Super 8, 16mm, Super 16mm or 35mm film to show (we can screen on all formats but the 35mm plus films that have been transferred to VHS, DVD and miniDV). Let me know ASAP if you want a slot -- (804) 232-7642.
