Terrell Owens: I got picked on so much

It may be a hundred degrees in the shade, but it’s never too early in the summer for Washington Redskins fans to savor an article making yet another Dallas Cowboys player look like an mumbling idiot, or a drooling sex-offender, or an utter traitor to the entire human race. Yep, Dallas can sure pick ‘em.

Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens just can’t stop strutting his bad boy attitude. So, while he is yet to play a game in a Cowboys uniform, the self-promoter is already making news in Irving, Texas with his mouth. "Owens Blames Media," AP reports:

“Terrell Owens blames the media for portraying him as a selfish player, although he admits a tendency of saying things about others that he wouldn't want said about himself. In an interview with Bryant Gumbel airing Tuesday night on HBO’s ‘Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel,’ Owens acknowledges dishing out more criticism than he’s willing to take.

‘The only thing I can really think of is maybe it was the way I grew up, you know,’ he said, according to a transcript released Monday to The Associated Press. ‘I got picked on so much, and it's like I feel like I'm still constantly being picked on.’”

Does that man ever take responsibility for anything?

Poor Terrell. He's just "misunderstood."

Redskinz are going to get asses kicked. Synder is a criminal who made his money by perfecting the computerization of spam phone calls. He should be shot for this crime against humanity. Redskins won 1980s "Strike Bowls" by using steroids and Gibbs' only strength was that he could ignore the abuse with a straight face. Faced with a real schedule and no strikes, the lowly Skinz will implode again. Only thing a skinz fan understands is getting whapped up side the head repeatedly. Don't worry, multiple loses late in the season to division rivals will make you understand that you suck. The upside is you'll get to blow another relatively high draft pick on a moderately talented player that will play out his option to get away from Snyder.

Sknz 2006 record : 6-10 featuring a post thanksgiving losing streak.

Also, Portis needs psychiatric help badly.

Insider,

Owens takes responsibility for the touchdowns he scores. Of course, then, he acts as if he scored them alone.

Vivian,

Terrell has made trouble everywhere he's been in the NFL. So, to the extent he's misunderstood, it's sure been consistent. Redskins fans surely look forward to seeing him in a Cowboys uniform, running a post pattern across the middle. I can already hear him complaining about being hit too hard by certain players, unnecessarily ... and so forth.

Anonymous,

Replying to your trash-talk would be a waste of time, except to say this -- the fact you must hide your identity says all that needs to be said about you and your opinion.
