Take a few pages from Rep. Alan Grayson's book. Say something that grabs people. Say something that is heartfelt. And, have a sense of humor. That line about banning bacon is rich!
Please stop of believing you can beat McDonnell by bashing him endlessly with a 20-year-old thesis. It isn't enough!
If you can't think of anything else to use, maybe you should pay Grayson's way up here to campaign for you.

Only if you want McDonnell's lead to grow to 16 points.
Grayson is a hit everywhere. If he comes to Virginia, not that I'm saying he will, Grayson could draw a big crowd.
Anyway, Deeds did well tonight in the debate. He didn't say anything all that earth-shaking, but he more than held his own.
Which may have come as a surprise to some viewers.
Deeds certainly came across as the more sincere/forthright candidate. I couldn't help but notice that McDonnell isn't nearly as slick as he imagines himself to be.
On issues, I'm not sure either man gained much of an advantage.
