'Appeasement' in our time

What is even more absurd/annoying than the typical snarling second-string political panelist on a cable television news show, palavering practiced passion in an effort to tar a candidate?

Perhaps such a panelist who doesn’t know the meaning of the key talking-points word he uses.

Click here to read about the appearance of radio talk-show blowhard Kevin James on MSNBC's Hardball last week. It seems James is adamantly opposed to “appeasement” in our time ... no matter what the hell it means.

Look, F.T., appeasement's bad. Bad, bad, bad. We shouldn't do it because it's appeasement and it's bad. It doesn't matter what exactly it is, but whatever it is we shouldn't do it ... because it's really bad ... and it's appeasement. And Neville Chamberlain appeased. He appeased so much one doesn't know where to begin to describe just how much appeasing he did. He appeased out the wazoo ... must have been for one or two years. And that made it really bad.

So, have I boiled the numbskull's points down to their essence for you?

Catzmaw,

All the cat had to do was look the word up before he went on Hardball to be an expert talking head.

But in a larger sense, it says something rather funny about the "experts" who appear on shows like Hardball.
