At ShaunKenney.com the vivid blur that exists today in the open space between journalism and blogging is examined by Shaun Kenney. How far apart are they? At what point do they become the same thing?
As I’ve been giving these same questions some thought of late, Kenney’s post was an especially interesting read. Apparently Kenney has been at blogging longer than some of the current blogosphere’s most active contributors.
SLANTblog will soon present a piece (now in the works) that deals with political blogging and its role in painting the political landscape, and that vivid blur thing. This topic will no doubt be much in the air at the upcoming Blog Summit, June 16th and 17th, in Charlottesville. By the way, the official deadline to register for that conference is today. I'm going.
