Conaway Haskins III has been studying Virginia’s burgeoning blogosphere, trying both to understand its nature and influence its direction. Due to his thoughtful writings posted on his South of the James blog, Haskins has already had a positive impact on the state of blogging in Virginia. Now he wants to do more.
While most bloggers are totally focused on today’s elections, the culmination of what has been a frenzy of blogging activity in support of candidates and ballot measures, Haskins is looking at tomorrow. Posted on Bacon’s Rebellion, his thoughts on the untamed blogosphere’s future, "The Day After Tomorrow," are well worth reading.
