Wronging Wainwright The story on Jerry Wainwright's departure that has been oozing out of the University of Richmond has a bad smell to it. In my book Wainwright is as respected as just about anyone in college basketball today, as far as being a straight shooter goes. He is a class act. Those in the Spiders athletic director's office, and whatever other boosters who are trashing Wainwright following his move to DePaul, are doing injury to their own program.
