The Byrd Theatre Foundation will present its own production of “Just a Closer Walk with Patsy Cline,” starring Julie Johnson (pictured right), for four performances over three days next month -- May 18-20.The Byrd Theatre Foundation is made up of volunteers dedicated to the purchase and restoration of the Byrd, a genuine 1928 movie palace Richmonders are fortunate to still have in their midst. Proceeds from these benefit performances will be applied to the cost of a new roof and other such essential preservation moves that need to be made, ASAP.
