VCU Wears Down Duquesne

Final Score: VCU 71, Duquesne 62

Location: Richmond, Va. (Siegel Center)
Current Records: VCU 14-7, 7-3 in A-10; Duquesne 6-14, 1-7 in A-10.

With four players scoring in double figures, led by the timely improved play of junior forward
Hason Ward, VCU pulled away from Duquesne in the latter part of the second half. Nonetheless, the win was harder to secure than it should have been. Once again, the Rams missed senior small forward Vince Williams (
strained calf), their usual best point-producer and rebounder, who was out of the lineup for the second consecutive tilt.

The information below was supplied by Chris Kowalczyk, VCU Assistant A.D.
