Today I see and read all the news of controversy over removing statues of our so called Confederate heroes from New Orleans to Charlottesville and find myself bracing for the day it's Richmond's turn. Of course in our home, being the Capital of the Confederacy, we have so many statues of these historical figures, that I am sure Richmond will be once again on the front pages all over the country again. My first thought is of historical significance, but to put myself in the shoes of a black person, as you have made me think, I would agree that the time has come for this discussion to begin anew amongst the citizens of our fair city.Roosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00964924954699658820noreply@blogger.com
